Description
Mudslappers is a high-octane party game pitting mudskippers against each other in a battle to the death! Slap your way to victory in 2-4 player combat as you send each other flying out of the arena.

History
After forming the team in early March 2023, Sick Bread Studios brainstormed a number of game ideas before settling on Mudslappers. The idea of pitting one of nature's most bizarre creatures against one another seemed like a pretty far-fetched idea initially, but once prototypes were produced, we saw the potential. Being able to replicate the chaos displayed in real-life mudskipper fighting videos was the ultimate goal and as time passed, we got closer and closer to achieving it.
Mudslappers has since been shown at PAX and SXSW Sydney back in 2023! The game was still un-finished and in need for some improvements, and has since been updated for its 2025 release.

The Team
Sick Bread Studios is an independent studio consisting of 11 individuals, who contribute to the project in various ways. The six core design members are as follows:
Niki D'Arcy - Art Director / Concept Art / 2D Art and Animation / UI Design / Lighting Artist / Level Design / Programmer / Sound FX editing and implementation
